H&M is Comin’ to Town

7 Nov

This week something arrives in Denver. To me, it’s so much more exciting than the opening of Ikea this summer or the prospect of one day having an In-N- Out Burger. It’s H&M… and it opens at the Denver Pavilions this week.

H&M is a perfect trend spot: It’s the place to go to pick up the fun trends that may not stand the test of time. If you want to try out a trend without breaking the bank, find something fun to dress up an outfit or are an expert at mixing high-priced staples with budget pieces, then H&M is your spot. If you want to buy a staple that will still look new in 10 years or you have a hard time tolerating a crowd (we have a feeling thousands of Denverites are just as excited as we are), then it may not be the best fit right now.

Below are two Polyvore looks I put together with a few of my current H&M favorites – I sure hope I can find a few of the items below come Thursday.

How cute are the brown oxfords and braided bag? Both are just perfect for a fall day at the office. The detail on the blouse above helps add interest to an otherwise neutral piece. And, the large tote above can easily double as a briefcase or a small travel bag. H&M – I already love you.

Stay tuned for more outfit ideas from H&M as the week progresses.

I am evidently missing something not knowing about H & M. Fill us in on the details of the store, please!

H&M is a Swedish-based store with outlets around the world. It features high fashion at low prices and is a favorite of Office Pretties everywhere! Next time you are in Denver, you must check it out!
